My box full of 21 Day Fix goodies arrived yesterday!

The first impression I had when I opened the box: I spent nearly $80 on this?

Yes, yes I did. I could have saved a few dollars by ordering through Amazon, but I wanted to order through my coach Josey so I could join in on her latest fitness challenge.

The containers to portion out your food are small. I’d heard this was the case, but I guess I needed to see it to believe it. I forgot I was also getting a Shakeology mug. This seemed like a waste since I’m not including Shakeology in my diet. (Though, I’m sure it’s a marketing tactic to get you to try it out if you haven’t already.) This mug would have been extremely helpful had it come with my PiYo Challenge Pack back in October, which included Shakeology. Sadly, no mug came with it.

There were stickers to label the containers, an eating plan with instructions on how to use the containers and recipes to try, and, of course, the 21 Day Fix workout DVD.

I plan to dive into the DVD workouts this weekend, but I think the eating plan is going to be trickier for me. First, I need to get used to measuring things out. But second, the diet calls for a lot of nuts and coconut oil. These are GREAT when trying to eat healthy; however, L is allergic to peanuts and we have to stay away from all nuts because of it. He’s also a rare one with a coconut allergy. I’m going to be referring to my Clean(er) Eating Pinterest board a lot through this challenge.

SO many people have had good things to say about 21 Day Fix, and I’m hoping I get some results I’m happy with. If done correctly, 21 Day Fix says you’ll lose 15lbs in 21 days. I’m not sure that will happen since I’m weary of how well I’ll do with the food part. So for now I want to work on toning/tightening my body since I lost weight last month.
