My Black Friday/Cyber Monday Wish List

(This post may contain affiliate links. For more information, please read my full disclosure.)

Thanksgiving is in one week and then my favorite shopping weekend of the year: Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I know they’re two separate days, but the deals seem to last every day between them as well. There are a few things I have my eye on this year — and if you’re a long-time reader you may already be familiar with a couple of them.

Black Friday Cyber Monday isn't just for shopping for holiday gifts for others. Check out what I'm hoping to score during the weekend after Thanksgiving! via muddybootsanddiamonds.com #BlackFriday #CyberMonday

A new planner!

I fell in love with my Plum Paper planner this year so I am ordering another one for 2018. I stalked their webpage and social media channels for most of 2016 and found they don’t go on sale often. Their best deal was Cyber Monday and I’m assuming hoping they’re planning the same for this year.

Plum Paper has just added a BUNCH of new planner add-ons, like social media planning and mileage tracking. I’ll be spending Thanksgiving personalizing a Large ME Planner so I’ll be able to order it ASAP when I see something about a sale!

Family Ornament

Back in 2014, I started ordering a pewter ornament from Tiny Prints (now part of Shutterfly) with a picture of our family from that year. It doesn’t look like Shutterfly has the exact one I ordered, but they have some that are similar, and many more to choose from! Being able to put these on the tree every year has given me so much joy. I love seeing my little family grow!

Holiday Cards

I tried Mpix last year and was really happy with them (they’re actually my favorite place to order my photos from). So, I’m considering them again this year. But if I somehow don’t find a design I like through them, I’ll be ordering holiday cards through Shutterfly.

Address Labels

OK, we have plenty of these, and I was going to use them despite not being fancy and holiday themed, but I tend to put our address labels on the back of the envelope to make sure it is really sealed. A couple of months ago Mabel’s Labels came out with these Wraparound Address Labels. It’s basically one long address label that lets you wrap around the envelope to ensure it stays sealed! There are eight really cute styles to choose from – including a Hello Kitty! So yeah, want!

FitBit

Last year, I forgot to take my FitBit One out of my pocket, ran it through the wash, and completely ruined it. You’d think after nearly a year, I’d be used to not having it around but I still find myself patting my pocket to see if it’s there. And I really, really miss the step challenges I had with friends. The tiny gadget motivated me, and motivation is something I’ve lacked big time this year.

I’m struggling with making a decision between another One and an Alta. The Alta is supposed to be about $50 cheaper on Black Friday, making it the same price as the One. Even if I don’t end up getting this myself, one of them is going on my Christmas list so I can hopefully rock my fitness in 2018!

While I’m doing my online shopping, I look up coupon codes and use Ebates whenever possible for cash back. They even find the best coupons for you if you’re shopping at a participating retailer! If you haven’t signed up for them, make sure you do before doing any online shopping! It’s totally free and can put some money back into your wallet every three months!

Are you planning on doing any Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping? Do you use these days to shop for others or jump on deals for yourself?

  1. It’s the most wonderful time of the year again! Can’t wait to get some cyber Monday shopping done for others maybe for me too lol. Those are really good things on ur list.

  2. I love Tinyprints. We ordered some of their holiday cards a few years ago. This Christmas, I’d love to be gifted a fitbit. I need to exercise more and it’s always better when I can visually see milestones being reached along the way.
