When G was born, one of my SiLs gave us two small photo albums with “Family” printed on them.
Not knowing what to do with them, I decided to fill one with photos of G and his extended family. I thought this would be a great way for him to learn who his aunts, uncles, and grandparents are since he doesn’t seem them on a regular basis.
When we cleared out the junk room to make room for L, I found the second album. I decided to do to same for him.
But I’m slacking in printing photos for L’s album. Printing just one photo depletes our color ink supply fairly quickly, so I haven’t felt compelled to print any out at home.
Until recently, I didn’t have to worry about L’s book too much. He hadn’t seemed interested in books at all. But I’ve seen him sit with G’s and point to the people in the photos. Mr Boots says he enjoys looking through it when he’s getting dressed for bed.
It’s time I stop slacking and add to the two photographs that are already in L’s album.
I love using Shutterfly for this kind of thing because their prints are affordable and decent quality. If you’re in a hurry, you can choose to pick them up at CVS, Walgreens, or Target in about an hour from ordering them online (I’ve yet to try this option out).
They also offer promos that help make printing your photographs, cards, or photo books a little easier on the wallet. Check out these current deals and promo codes for Shutterfly and their affiliate, Tiny Prints:
